Description
Each tablet (0.5 g of stevia) contains at least 98% of the active substance — powder derived from crushed leaves of the plant Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni — and up to 2% excipients. The crushed stevia leaf contains: glycosides, steviosides, rebaudiosides.
Pressed stevia leaf tablets are a 100% natural sweetener. Stevia is 15 times sweeter than sugar and contains more than 50 beneficial compounds. Zero calories.
With regular consumption, stevia helps reduce blood glucose levels, radionuclides and cholesterol; improves cell regeneration and blood properties; strengthens blood vessel walls.
Stevia preparations are used for therapeutic and preventive (dietary) nutrition for people with diabetes, alimentary obesity; for prevention of hypertension, atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases, and liver congestion.
Usage: stevia can be used as tablets, tincture, tea or as an additive to other teas. It can be added to any dish where sugar is traditionally used: porridges, soups, beverages, teas, milk, kefir, yogurts, confectionery, etc. Stevia infusion can be added to taste in compotes, tea, jellies, fermented dairy products. Tea is consumed one cup twice a day.
Stevia gives an inimitable flavour nuance to black loose-leaf tea, herbal teas with rosehip, hibiscus, mint, chamomile and others.
Dosage: 1–2 tablets (to taste) per 200–250 ml of liquid; steep in boiling water for 5–10 minutes.
Storage: no refrigeration required. Composition: stevia.
